Hello Highland Physical Education,
Given the unfortunate circumstances of being unable to meet in person, physical education has gone remote. While this is a challenge and not ideal to how I am sure most of us prefer to learn, I will be doing my best to encourage daily, continued physical activity. SHAPE America, our national physical education organization, recommends children get 60 minutes of physical activity a day. This can still be achieved at and around home! Go outside and get some fresh air, play with your siblings or pets, encourage your parents to get involved if possible! The following are weekly postings to help you reach this recommended time and to stay fit and safe. Working together we can still achieve all these things keeping in mind of course the ever-changing recommendations to quarantine and social distancing. Let's keep those bodies moving Highland!
